
On January 31st 2023, the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries organized the hybrid event “New technologies and agro-ecological practices for the achievement of Farm to Fork Strategy goals”, in the context of the European project PestNu.
The aim of the event was to create a “dialogue forum” among the stakeholders of the agri-food chain and the Food Industry on the contemporary challenges of the sector in the transition towards a sustainable primary production.
Representatives of the State, the Academia & Research Institutes, the Food sector, the retail and partners of PestNu project participated with interesting presentations and a panel discussion on “Sustainable practices in primary production and new technologies: perspectives and incentives”.
A demonstration was made of the robot that is being developed during the project, to assist farmers practices.
A common will for discussion and cooperation was highlighted by all the stakeholders, aiming at achieving F2F goals and addressing the challenges of the agri-food sector.
