
On October 21st, SEVT organized a digital event about the new EU strategy “Farm to Fork” that was published in May 2020. The aim was to inform our Members on the evolutions, the challenges and the opportunities that may occur through the implementation of this strategy.
Mrs. Alexandra Nikolakopoulou, Head of Unit, Farm to Fork Strategy, DG SANTE, European Commission, was invited to share her knowledge and insights on the topic. She presented the goals of the Strategy and the actions foreseen and she replied to several questions that were raised by the audience.
The President of the Hellenic Food Authority, Dr. Antonis Zambleas, also participated and expressed the will of the authority to stand as a valuable partner throughout this common effort.
