SWEET project (Sweeteners and sweetness enhancers: Impact on health, obesity, safety and sustainability) aims to examine the barriers & facilitators to the use of sweeteners & sweetness enhancers (S&SEs) & examine the likely risks & benefits of using them to replace sugar in the diet in the context of health, obesity, safety & sustainability.

SWEET, a European Commission Horizon 2020 funded project, is supported by a consortium of 29 pan-European research, consumer and industry partners and it is coordinated by University of Liverpool. SEVT participates in the project through the GEIE SPES.
